Year 5 and 6 took part in the REaction Day at Beverley Minster.  The theme for the day was Going for Goals. Using Olympic and Paralympic values they were asked to think about how these could help them to achieve their own individual goals.  They joined in with singing, drama and African drumming workshops.  Here are some of the pictures and comments they made to describe what they thought of the day.

I enjoyed the day it was fun and educational and we enjoyed mixing and working with other school children.  My favourite part was the music.  I learnt lots about life in the past, God, Christianity.
I really enjoyed the drums, learning about Martin Luther, how Saul became Paul and about Olympic values. The day brought us closer to God.  My favourite part was watching the paper dissolve as a sign of Paul being shipwrecked.
I learnt some new great beats and made lots of new friends from other schools.  The drama was really dramatic.
