As part of their theme KS1 were visited by a physicist from York University.  Inside the cosmodome they blasted into space to visit Jupitar, Mars and Neptune.  They saw the night sky.  They got so close to the moon they could see astronauts on it and the moon craters.  Children from Class 2 said, "The best bit was seeing the planets,  it was so good we felt like we were on a rocket."
